General Information:
REGISTRATION AND TUITION FEES
Our annual registration fee is $25 per student.
We accept 3 forms of payment for monthly tuition fees:
Option 1 – Automatic Draft (from checking account).
Tuition drafts will occur on the 3rd of each month for a nine month period (September-May). If for any reason classes need to be discontinued, a 30-day notice must be given in person and the proper withdrawal form must be filled out to stop the draft. If a draft is rejected, a $30 processing fee will be charged in addition to any banking surcharge your financial institution may enforce!
-With this option, registration fees, Recital Packages, etc., are to be paid by check or cash on the correct due dates; we can only draft monthly tuition.
Option 2 – Nine (9) post-dated checks.
All checks must be post-dated for the 3rd of each month, NO LATER, check will be deposited on the 5th of the month.
If a check is returned, there will be a $30 processing fee in addition to any banking surcharge your financial institution may enforce!

Option 3 – Payment in full (monthly tuition). With this option, a 10% discount will be deducted from the total. Make check payable to Absolute Dance, There is a $30.00 processing fee on all returned checks in addition to any banking surcharge your financial institution may enforce!

VISITING DAYS
Parents, guardians and friends are not allowed to observe weekly classes. It prevents:
- Children watching the parents instead of the instructor.
- Children showing off for their parents and distracting other students.
- Accidents due to distractions (Safety is always our main concern.)

Children not achieving their personal best. Parents will get better and more complete instruction for their children under this policy!
Parents have the privilege of waiting in the lobby until classes are over. There will be ONE designated “Peek Week” when parents can come in the studios and watch classes (due to lack of space in studios, no other relatives or friends are allowed at “Peek Week”). Any friends or relatives that travel to Midland at any time during the year are NOT allowed to watch classes for any reason; this is why we have performances. Thank you for understanding this policy!
CLASS PLACEMENT
Technique, skill, age and commitment are a few things that will determine what class a student is placed in. If the instructor feels that another class would be more beneficial to the student, the parents will be notified to discuss trying a new class. We realize that many students want to jump from beginner to advanced in one easy leap. They want to be in a class with their “friends” who have possibly danced for several years. It does not come that way in dance or any form of achievement. Students must set goals, work hard and listen to the information, placement and instruction that the teacher gives them. Students and parents should not anticipate annual level advancements; it may be two or more years before students are ready for advancement. We ask that parents support, trust and respect our decisions in class placement. Select classes have pre-requisites. At the end of the year, all students will receive a medal for completing a year in dance education at Absolute Dance.
RECITAL PACKAGES
Our recital packages include everything your child will need for our annual recital. Packages include costumes, tights, a recital t-shirt, recital and dresser fees, an achievement medal, 6 recital tickets and a professional DVD of the recital. A recital package will need to be purchased in order to perform in the recital. The total package price will be broken into two payments, the first will be due in October and the balance will be due in November.
